Life, The Universe, & Everything is Utah’s annual Sci-Fi/Fantasy writing symposium. I’ve attended for five or six years in a row now. I’m one of the special guests, and will be on a ton of panels. If you are an aspiring writer, this is probably the best nuts and bolts writing conference I know of. It isn’t a fan con, so there isn’t going to be a bunch of folks in costumes and that sort of thing. This is pretty much writers and publishing business/craft in a three day firehouse of information. So I really do recommend it.
Now for me, it is an excuse to hang out with friends and I get to sneak in a Warmachine game against Howard Tayler.
