  1. Is there a reason Baen can’t get these artists for ALL your covers?

  2. I need the artist’s name and website. I want them to do my covers going forward…so long as the exchange rate works out well for me at least. 😀

The Czechs. Awesome covers, and an awesome pistol. What’s not to love?

  3. I’m still waiting for “Love Monster” to come out in English.

    • Ooooohhhh yeah.

Whoever that artist is, he made Skippy on the cover of Monster Hunter Legion look ever more badass than I imagined. And I can imagine quite a bit.

  4. I have to agree with Rainydayninja. The Czechs should be your first choice for all your covers. The Grimnoir U.S. covers are pretty good but they are not competition for the Czech ones. Remember your target audience 🙂

  5. Heads up Larry Instapundit plugged MHN today:

IN THE MAIL: From Larry Correia, Monster Hunter Nemesis.

  6. I like those! Ok, now I’m looking at the first book on amazon and reading 1 star reviews for kicks.

  7. Jeez, the Czech artist really over looked the whole sexy Finnish redhead aspect of Heather for that Alpha cover. But they are shooting the hell outta Volkodlak so im good with that.

  8. Badass for sure, but but but a minigun???

Now, Jake Jr … er … Joe Sullivan with a minigun I could accept as there are limits to my suspension of disbelief!

  9. Now that’s awesome. Although my favorite of the Czech covers is probably the one they did for “Nemesis,” with Franks’ “I came, I saw and I kicked its ass” pose next to his succubus squeeze.

Their artwork really does a good job of capturing the spirit of the books.

  10. I need a bigger pic for my screensaver, please!!

  11. Your European covers rock.

  12. Mr. Sullivan could easily HOLD the minigun, but the question is, will he ever? *nudge, nudge*

  13. I have no idea how to insert picture in comment so here is link to big version of this cover.
